- To strengthen fellowship among trained Pastors
- To help Pastors own the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church 2017-2013 Strategic Plan
- To help Pastors renew their commitment to a life of integrity
- To understand the opportunities and challenges of pastoring in urban and rural settings
- To provide an opportunity for Pastors to have spiritual renewal
In the company of Pastors, Reverends, Prophets & Students |
I saw how God’s grace is at work at the Pilgrim Weslayan
Church in that @ 85 years the church is still united, still growing strong
through church planting and evangelism and still holding to its values of
scriptural holiness.
I stayed in the missionary vacant house. The missionaries who occupied the house went back home to America.
I was impressed at the way they embraced African décor. I mean their house was more African than most African houses I know.
Jembo Secondary is a Mission School |
The Principal left welcomes Bishop and his team to their school |
On the last day, I accompanied the Bishop to the mission school. The Bishop taught the students that there is time for everything and that as students it is time for them to work hard in their studies and not to live as working class or as married couples. I encouraged students to stay focused and ask God in prayer to help them achieve their dream.
My personal highlight from the whole event was Holy
Communion Service led by Rev. Mudenda of John Howard Pilgrim Wesleyan Church. I enjoyed the service because the
Pastor taught on the meaning of the Holy Communion and why we should always
remember to come together to partake of it.
Looking forward to more Christian gatherings! God bless Pilgrim Wesleyan Church and its leaders. The Lord bless us and encourage our hearts!
